Positive: The place is very instagrammable. The staffs were friendly, the place is clean. Also I like their honesty especially when I left my clothes on our room and we already in the terminal, my husband got text to them that I left my clothes in the room. I thought I cannot get it back, but they brought it to the terminal and gave it to us which I really appreciate most. Thank you so much log cabin staff, you did great job and exceed our expectation.

Positive: The staff were friendly and the breakfast was generous. They had a nice bar on site. The hunting decorations are a bit eh, but I'm sure some people would like it.

Negative: Don't use the laundry service. Half my laundry got shrunk/ruined because they put stuff that is clearly labelled as not machine dryable into a tumble drier. This ruined about 7600php worth of new clothes so double the cost of the stay itself.

Summary: Don't do your laundry here

Positive: location is ok, in front of botanical garden

Negative: ALL petite rooms are situated near the kitchen, kitchen smoke seeps into the inside of the room. therefore your room smells like kitchen every time they cook. it is the first time this ever happened to me where my bedroom smells this bad. mind you the exhaust fan inside the bedroom is no match for the smell seeping in from their kitchen. all petite rooms apparently according to the receptionist are like this. some staff are friendly, some seems to be nonchalant about their work.

Summary: not good,I have asthma and this strong smell from kitchen made my rest in my room very uncomfortable

Positive: Location is good....it has a different ambience and looks more traditional than most hotels

Negative: Aged, needs maintenance everywhere. Staff lackadaisical in all areas. Outdated paperwork and administrative processes, breakfast food covered in flies, very limited choice unless you like poorly cooked greasy philippines fare (note very greasy). Beds firm and clean (good point), bathroom a bit dirty (wipe a wall and see what i mean) with some mould..toilet seat broken, toilet roll holder positioned literally BEHIND the toilet. Zero hooks or bench space in bathroom so hard to get dressed in dry clothes (family room!). Parking very tight, minimal to zero help with luggage (I walk with a cane after 5 x heart bypasses etc..and had to lug luggage up 2 flights of stairs myself!) Generally grubby and unkempt, all wood panelling must have original varnish from 1913 approx...really needs refinishing.. Oh...its also somewhat noisy..you hear shower and toilet from next room...and every step in hallway.. Last but not least..it has ZERO aircond, and they have 2 x cheap wall exhaust fans for sucking air in and out from outside...so you can get 1 to 2 degrees away from ambient temperatures at best...and the old exhaust fams are super rattly and noisy.. No microwave, tiny bar fridge, and tye worlds cheapest electric kettle and instant coffee supplied...no water bottles..and no water available for drinking For the price charged here, and the flashy photos online I expected many levels better...I suggest you look further afield..many many better venues exist
